Digital Facilities Management

 

With the push towards meeting organisations’ Environment, Social and Governance (ESG) targets; Facilities Management (FM) teams are currently more involved in ESG initiatives and reporting. In order to make their efforts more efficient, effective and sustainable, FM practitioners need to adopt and deploy smart and sustainable technologies and know-hows.

Via this interactive facilitated course, learners will be provided with insights into how Ngee Ann Polytechnic has adopted smart and sustainable technologies to enable its FM digitalisation and visualisation drive with positive and sustainable outcomes.

On top of the above, learners will be able to use design thinking concept such as LUMA Human-Centered Design framework to guide them in their organisation’s next move towards the deployment of smart and sustainable FM technologies.

 

Trainee(s) will be able to:

  1. Learn about Ngee Ann Polytechnic’s (NP) journey towards its’ Integrated Operations Centre (IOC) development, the challenges encountered and how they are overcome.
  2. Be acquainted with NP’s IOC operations.
  3. Learn about the use of messaging services such as Telegram to facilitate FM operations.
  4. Be acquainted with Industry partners’ smart and/or digital FM platforms that can be deployed.
  5. Application of LUMA Human-Centered Design Thinking framework.
  6. Apply what you have learnt to define what success will look like for your organisation’s smart and sustainable FM drive, as well as how it can be achieved.
