Fire Safety Manager Course

The increasing complexity of modern building structures has also heightened the complexity of managing fire risks. The role of a Fire Safety Manager now comes with added challenges in ensuring fire safety standards within buildings for the protection of occupants as well as important assets.

COURSE OBJECTIVES

This course is designed to train participants in various fire safety requirements and measures to enable them to undertake the role of a Fire Safety Manager. At the end of the course, participants should be able to:

• Explain the importance of fire safety and fire safety regulations
• Demonstrate the operation and maintenance of various fire protection systems, equipment and fire-fighting facilities
• Use digital technologies and smart automation related to facility fire monitoring, operations and maintenance to optimise the fire-fighting efficiency and performance
• Understand the roles and responsibilities of fire safety managers.

The participants need to take an FSM examination at the end of the course.
